Hotel Boutique Castillo Rojo is an exclusive luxurious hotel, located in the middle of Plaza Mori, right in the heart of Barrio Bellavista, famous for its live music, theaters, restaurants, and lively nightlife.

The hotel is locate done block away from Casa de Pablo Neruda (La Chascona), from Patio Bellavista, from the cable car that leads to the top of Cerro San Cristóbal, walking distance from Baquedano Subway Station, from Downtown, Museo de Bellas Artes and Mercado Central, and only 20 minutes away from the International Airport.

From here, you will be able to visit the tourist city of Viña del Mar and Valparaíso, as well as the vineyards located in the Valleys of Casablanca and Maipo, only one hour and a half away from the hotel, and also ski resorts, half an hour away from the hotel.

The iconic Castillo Rojo was originally built in 1923 by the aristocratic Lehuede family (you can see the pictures in the hallways of the hotel, even the Wedding of the owners, celebrated at this same castle). The hotel was then bought by a Russian writer, who later died and left it to his maid, who being unable to maintain such a castle, rented it by rooms, thus becoming a gathering place for artists, both Chilean and foreign.

In 2010, the hotel was bought by its current owners, and after 3 years of remodeling and restoring it, it was inaugurated in May of 2014 as a Boutique Hotel, with original pieces of furniture of those times, fireplaces, and works of restored wood, with lighting and designs elements following the style of the 1920’s.
